TPS22995: CT pin capacitor calculation

Hi,

if iam calculate TR using vin 3.3 CT as 0 not getting above value 72.2us

in my case VIN is 3.3 and CT is 2200pf getting 58.6s 

is it correct?

    Data in the table are obtained from characterizations of the device.

    The equation is given to get the estimated value.

    We calculated the rise time using the datasheet equation it gives 
    calculated values:-
    CT=0,VIN=3.3 Tr=58.6S
    is this correct?
    if we use 0pf this much of seconds to reach saturation point..

    CT=0,VIN=58.6s

    When the equation is applied, we obtain tr=58.6S; but, the same number(CT=0) for the table indicates 72.2 µs.

    which one we should follow table value or calculated value?

  • Hello Nuthuvel,

    The data on table are obtained from characterization of IC.

    Equation is provided to find an approximated rise time value for CT, VIN which are not present in table.
