TPS4H160, the recommended current for each channel is 2.5A.

Is it possible to use more than 2.5A?

If we use current of 2.5A for all four channels, how do we assess the heat in the chip, and are there any relevant calculation tools available？

Yes, 2.5A is the recommended limit per channel, utilizing more will cause the device to enter thermal shutdown. Below is an attached excel sheet to test the power limit of the device at steady state for each channel. The thermal shutdown threshold of this device is 160C-175C.

Can an RC network be used to evaluate the thermal performance of Version B?
