TPS25762-Q1: Question about external EEPROM.

One of my customers is considering using TPS25762-q1 for their next products.

At this moment, they have following questions.
Could you please give me your reply?

1. Regarding the development board TPS25762Q1EVM.
They think it is necessary to use the TPS257XX-Q1-GUI tool to set up and write the software
Do you have any GUI configuration file for the standard 65W output setting?
Or do you have any sample software for writing?

2. Regarding the TPS25762Q1 device
They think TPS25762Q1 cannot write a program to the external EEPROM via a USB endpoint when the external EEPROM is empty (no data). Is their thought correct?

3. Regarding EEPOM writing
Is it possible to write directly to the EEPROM using a board such as the TI EK-TM4C123GXL?
If the answer is yes, do you have any sample programs for the TI EK-TM4C123GXL?

1. The GUI will generate the 65W output system. There are many GPIO settings and other configurations that are needed. This App not explains the use of the configuration GUI in detail: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvubx5b/slvubx5b.pdf

2. This is correct.

Could I ask you a few additional questions for just confirming?

Q1.
About No.1 answer, do you mean that TI doesn't have any GUI configuration file for the standard 65W output setting?

Q2.
About No.2 answer, how is a bran-new external EEPROM on TPS25762Q1 board written their program?
Does customer needs to use EEPROM boot mode explained on page3 of application note, "TPS257x-Q1/77x-Q1 Firmware Update with a Host"?

Q1. Because the device has configurable GPIO, it is not possible to have generic configuration file, but the GUI makes it very easy to create a configuration that matches your schematic.

Q2. The EEPROM must either be programmed before installed or the customer must have a header that connects to the SCL and SDA pins of the EEPROM and program the EEPROM with a third party eeprom programmer. Many of our customers use this programmer: https://www.totalphase.com/products/aardvark-i2cspi/
