TPS92692: Specification for "TPS92692"

Part Number: TPS92692
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3410

Tool/software:

Dear Sir/Mam,

Can you share some Information for this IC "TPS92692".

What is the dimming frequency and output current for this IC, I have mentioned our requirement below,

Dimming frequency:1 Hz to 40 Hz for IR LED

Output current :2 A or above

Output Voltage:15 or above

input voltage:3.3 to above

Topology: Boost, Buck-Boost

is this above mentioned IC satisfy our needs, if no means, kindly provide the part number that satisfy our needs

Regards,

Praveek

  • What is minimum input voltage? If 3.3V, then TPS92692 can't meet this spec, neither other device can meet this with 2A above current.  LM3410 can support 3.3V but it can't deliver such high current.

  • Hi,

        Thank you for your reply,

At which input voltage, it satisfy our needs?

What is the Dimming Frequency Range for internal and External Dimming Frequency?

Can we connect 4 to 5  IR LED's in series?

    Specification:

Dimming frequency:1 Hz to 40 Hz for IR LED , Duty cycle: 1  to   90%

Output current :2 A or above

    Output Voltage:15 or above

    input voltage:3.3 to above

    Topology: Boost, Buck-Boost

    Type: IR LEDS

Number of LEDs:4 to 5 LED's in series

  • Recommended operation voltage for TPS92692 is 6.5- 65V. Crank voltage can be down to 4.5V.

  • What is the Dimming Frequency Range for internal and External Dimming Frequency?

Can we connect 4 to 5  IR LED's in series?

In our application light output power has to be very precise, + or - 10%

Could you explain the precision dimming LED Driver, Is this a Precision Dimming LED Driver?

  • 1. Can minimum input voltage meet the spec?

    2. You can set dimming frequency 1 Hz to 40 Hz and PWM duty cycle 0-100% with RAMP pin capacitor and DIM/PWM setting.

    3. Certainly, you can connect 4 to 5  IR LED's in series.

    4. The offset of TP92692 current sense amplifier is very low as below to maintaining better than 4% current accuracy over the operating temperature range. When load reduces, the offset ratio increases and light output power accuracy reduces.

What is maximum output current and light current?
