TPS62871: Calculating compensation capacitor

Part Number: TPS62871
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPSM8287A12

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

I have a question regarding a formula from the datasheet for TPS62871.

Before calculating the compensation resistor we get values for minimum and maximum output capacitance. Minimum is calculated using a formula and in datasheet example they come to 203 uF.

Then maximum we get according to:

"When calculating worst-case component values, use the value calculated above as the minimum output
capacitance required. For ceramic capacitors, the maximum capacitance when considering tolerance, DC bias,
temperature, and aging effects is typically two times the minimum capacitance. In this case, the maximum
capacitance COUT(max) is 406μF"

Now, when calculating the bandwidth of the inner loop, in place of C_OUT_max, value that is plugged in is for 203uF, instead of for C_OUT_max. Is this a mistake where it is wrong value plugged in, or am I missing something? I just want to know if the formula is correct, because I am making calculations for my own design.

Looking forward to your replies.
