Max Error of BQ4050 is only 100% described, while BQ40Z50 has 1%, 3%, 5%, 100% described, what is the difference between them? Does it have anything to do with waking up after the Shutdown? Will this value be reported to the host by the Smbus?

    Hello,

    The difference between bq4050 and bq40z50 are the algorithms that are implemented on them, with bq4050 utilizing the CEDV algorithm and bq40z50 using the Impedance Track algorithm. This value can change upon waking up from shutdown due to the device going through a full reset when waking up. For this to be reported to the host, the 0x0C register will need to be read out.
