BQ40Z50: BQ40z50- R3: Charge and Discharge FETs are going OFF while Charger from Device is removed

Hi,

I am observing the charge and discharge FET of the fuel gauge to be turned off while removing AC adapter in the host system. due to this power supply to the host (both battery and external charger) is not available, and going to shut down state.

What are the possible reasons why FETs are going off? please help.
