Subject: Seeking an LDO to Generate -0.7V @ -1.39mA and -0.7V @ -1.5mA
I am looking for an LDO that can generate a negative voltage of -0.7V at currents of -1.39mA and -1.5mA. After searching through various options, I found the LM27761, which offers an output range of -1.5V to -5V.
However, since this range does not include -0.7V, I am wondering if there is an alternative LDO that can directly provide -0.7V. If not, could you please advise on how I might achieve this voltage using the LM27761 or any other method?
Hello Adwait,
thanks for using E2E.
The LM27761 is an inverting charge pump combined with a negative LDO.
I'm not aware of any method to operate the LM27761 at a VOUT of -0.7V.
I think it would be best to use an inverting charge pump, such as the TPS60400 or the LM2776, to generate a negative voltage with some headroom (let's say for example -3V) and then add an extra negative LDO to reduce and regulate this voltage to -0.7V.
I will forward this thread to the LDO team to help suggesting a suitable LDO.
Best regards,
Andreas.
Hello Adwait,
Please take a look at our Adjustable Negative LDO https://www.ti.com/product/TPS723
