Hi,

I want to know which is the recommended tool to use in production with bq34z100-g1 (or R2). The processes to be carried out are: programming .srec and calibrate voltage and current. Production batches are larger than 5k units.

Hi,

I recommend using R2 FW.

However, there are differences in registers between R2 and G1.

Hi,

We do not have any production tools. Typically, customers will flash their "golden image" (gm.fs) onto their device during production.

Hi Diego,

And which tool and sw do customer use to flash the golden image onto the device? We used in the past bqStudio and EV2400 but I do not know if these tools have been updated.

Hi,

BQstudio and EV2400 can be used, this is the simplest method.

It can also be flashed i2c from an MCU.
