Tool/software:
Hi,
I am designing a 100W bidirectional charger using the reference design https://www.ti.com/tool/PMP41062.
I am interested in knowing the sleep mode current of the design if no load is connected to it at all.
Thanks
Shwetanshu

Hi Aya,
Thanks for your response. The sleep mode current is a little higher than what I need. Is there any other IC available with the same functionality that has a lower sleep mode current? or any way to completely switch off the IC and wake it up with an enable signal?
Thanks
Shwetanshu
Hi Shwetanshu,
Just to clarify, the PD enters sleep mode when it is powered on but there is no CC connection (i.e. no plug inserted) and no activity for a period of time (configurable in register).
or any way to completely switch off the IC and wake it up with an enable signal?
The TPS25751 is powered from VIN_3V3, in which current flows from VIN_3V3 to LDO_3V3 to power the core 3.3V circuitry and I/Os. To completely switch off the IC, you would need to power off the device (i.e. no VIN_3V3).
Best Regards,
