BQ76952: PERM_SEAL and LOCK_CFG in OTP

When the BQ76952 device is permanently sealed and configuration is locked (both PERM_SEAL and LOCK_CFG are set via OTP), is there any way to bypass this and reconfigure the device, or is the configuration permanent at this point?

Hello Pavel,

If the device is permanently sealed (PERM_SEAL) via OTP, the device will be unable to UNSEAL permanently. The configuration should also be permanent to whatever was set before CONFIG_UPDATE mode was exited. Table 13-36 Security Settings Register Field Descriptions in the BQ76952 Technical Reference Manual specifies more about those features.
