Hello,

I have a question regarding the change between RELAX mode and DISCHARGE Mode :

In the Application manual, it says that DISCHARGE mode is entered when current goes below (–)Dsg Current Threshold.

Can you please specify if it is based on Current or AverageCurrent ? Is there is some kind of filtering to avoid a short current pulse from exiting the relax mode ?

Hello Vincent,

This is based on current. Current is reported to the gauge every 1 second so the filtering would be the sample rate for current. If there is a short pulse, it will exit relax mode during the duration of the pulse and then enter back into relax mode when current goes below quit current.
