Hi Dongmei,
I will check with product engineer and reply to you later.
Colin
Hi Dongmei,
I have checked with our product engineer, the feedback is it is hard to know what exactly the material is according X-ray. Is this device you showed still working normal? And did you scan other devices to find same metal material? If so, i would think it may be the part of deice. Or if you still doubt it , you can get in touch with TI field quality engineer and send the sample to us for further check.
Thanks
Colin
Hello, Colin, I check other devices of this part number, half have and half not. What if this material is tin?
Hi Dongmei,
Please get in touch with TI sales or filed quality engineer, they can help you to check it.
Thanks,
Colin
Hello Colin, we removed the inductor and found tin on inudctor surface, could you please help to confirm if it's ok to use this lot? I know you recommended to find TI sales or filed quality engineer, but maybe it's faster to have an answer in forum.
Hi Dongmei,
I am application engineer and not sure whether it will bring risk. You should ask comments from quality engineer.
Thanks,
Colin
