BQSTUDIO: Does BQSTUDIO supports bq27541-V200?

Hi Team,

My customer found the following parameters are showed inconsistent between BQSTUDIO and BQEVSW although using same bq27541-V200 sample.
Export data (gg file) are different at the following parameters too.

・SOC1 Set Threshold（BQSTUDIO：150）→（BQEVSW：0）
・SOC1 Clear Threshold（BQSTUDIO：175）→（BQEVSW：150）
・SOCF Set Threshold（BQSTUDIO：75）→（BQEVSW：0）
・SOCF Clear Threshold（BQSTUDIO：100）→（BQEVSW：175）

I believe BQSTUDIO shows incorrect value.
Could you look into the issue?

Hello Yaita,

Can you share the gg file from BQStudio? Also does BQStudio autodetect the gauge? If so, can you share with me the .bqz file that is being used. The .bqz file can be found in the config folder where BQStudio is downloaded from.

Yes, BQStudio autodetects the gauge (bq27541-V200).
I attached gg file from BQStudio.

Regarding .bqz file, I couldn't insert the file on this E2E thread.
How to share the file?

Hello Yaita,

If you attach the bqz the same way you sent the gg file it should work. For example, I go to Insert -> Image/video/file and I am able to attach bqz files to posts. For reference, this is the bqz for the bq40z50r1

I still couldn't insert .bqz file so changed file extension to .csv.
Could you download and change to .bqz?

Hello Yaita,

After discussing with the team it is recommend to use this part with the bqEVSW and not BQStudio. There are changes that need to be made with bqEVSW and this gauge.

In addition, could you tell me the link that can download bqEVSW for bq27541-V200?
My customer has used bqEVSW but I don't have used until now.
It seems the following BQEVSW is for BQ30Z554-R1.

This is a very old gauge, any plan to modify BQStudio will not happen anytime soon.

Regarding your link of bq27541V200 bqEVSW (ver 0.9.61), my customer installed but it couldn't detect EV2400.
On the other hand, my customer's bq27541V200 bqEVSW (ver 0.9.92) could detect EV2400.
I believe newer version (ver 0.9.92) is recommended. Is it correct?
I also want to know the download link of latest version.

Hi Adrian-san,

I would like to ask one more.

My customer designed battery pack with bq27541-V200 using bqEVSW.

Is it possible to export golden image from the battery pack by bqStudio?
He assumes to use bqStudio only to "export golden image" and "program the golden image".
I believe it is possible but would like to ask just in case.
