TPS7A30: XC62KN2502MR PIN2PIN Alternative

Part Number: TPS7A30

Tool/software:

Hi TIer

Do we have pin2pin alternative for XC62KN2502MR?

The customer would like to have undervoltage protection.

Thank you very much.

  • Hi Tier

Could you help me check this chip?

    Thank you very much.

  • Hello Tony,

Apologies for the delay here and thank you for your patience after the US holiday.

We do not have any p2p device with the same functionality. We do have the TPS723 this is the same footprint with 2 extra pins (SOT-23-5 instead of SOT-23-3). This will be the closes match to the previous device. This is a negative, cost optimized device with high PSRR. It also has under voltage sometimes referred to as UVLO. While this is not explicitly explained in the datasheet the easiest way to tell is looking at the startup graphs (Figure 20. TPS72325 Power-Up/Power-Down). During start-up, you can see that Vout does not start until about -1.5V, this indicates that this is where the UVLO is set.

Let me know if you any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    McKyla
