Hi Sir,

 My customer report their quality engineer check there's lead frame plating question at their new LM2576 (failed rate 4/50 when checking). Is this ok to use at their product?

    Hi Gary,

    Here is the response I received from our quality and reliability group:

    "Manufacturing checked the lot history and no anomaly was observed on this lot.

    Suspect mold flash (resin bleed) in the area of the lead close to the package body that caused the small area close to the body not be completely plated. Leads having surface flash (resin bleed) not to exceed 1/3 of lead length is acceptable."
