Whether we need to provide the isolation for PGND and AGND?

Hi Sathya,

Copy the EVM layout (a design I did actually). Tie PGND and AGND at the DAP and use PGND copper for heat spreading.

As per your statement, In schematics, we can connect the PGND and AGND together.

The layout we will follow as per the guideline.

Hi Timothy,

In your EVM schematic design, you have provided the isolated the grounds.

Is that necessary to have isolation for both Agnd and Pgnd.

Hi Sathya,

You can tie AGND and PGND at the DAP under the IC. It is nice to have a separate AGND island for the signal components. I recommend copying the EVM layout.
