Currently we are working on this LM3410, 5 pin IC for the simulation this IC is not available in the tina, Pspice, 

Could you help how to Import this IC, Simulate this IC in tina?

  • This is a pretty old part.  We don't have a Tina or PSpice model for it.  You may want to consider using the TPS92691-Q1 or TPS92692-Q1 for your design.  Those both have PSPice models.  What is your application and design requirements?

    TPS92691-Q1 not available in Pspice, TPS92692-Q1 is available,  here I have mentioned the requirement,

    Major parameter is less Dimming Frequency 1Hz to 40 Hz, But  TPS92692-Q1  mentioned as typ 240Hz.

    Input Voltage: from 3V to max

    Output Voltage:15V to max

    Output Current:1.5A to max

    Output LED:5 IR LED in series

    Can we use TPS92692-Q1 for our needs( If yes How to attain the requirments) or Could you Suggest Similar IC like LM3410?

    Also can you help to find the values for over voltage protection circuit, schottkydiode, inductor for our Requirment,

    *5v input,500mA output current, 5 LED in series with forward voltage: max 1.9V

  • I actually think the LM3410 is a good part for this, but it just doesn't have a PSPice model.  I would recommend ordering an EVM and the modify it for your application.  

    I don't understand your input and output voltage to "Max".  You need to bound your design.  What is your input supply? (Vin min, typ, max)?  What is your output current (ILED min, typ, max)?  Your output supply voltage is just Vf of your IR LED at the load you plan to output  (500mA) multiplied by the number of LEDs.  Do you have a part number of the IR LED then we figure out VLED range.  We need to define these parameters so we can make sure we select the correct topology.  

    If we have an NDA with you then I can share unencrypted PSpice model of TPS92691.  You can contact TI sales rep to get the form for the NDA.  

    What is the end user application application for this design?

    Requirement:

    output voltage:15V(typ)   ,5 IR LED in Series, with forward voltage:1.86V(typ) to 2V(max)

    LED part: GH PUSRA1.25

    Kindly help to find the above mentioned value calculations.

    also we want to know, can we use TPS92691 with less dimming frequency:1 to 40Hz.

    What do you mean by "find the above mentioned value calculations"???  Are you asking for component values?  

    Yes, the TPS92691 can be PWM dimmed at 1 to 40 Hz.
