hi  team,

 recently we are promoting the PFC ucc28180 device , the Switching frequency is up to 120khz. the frequency is high for EMI performance.

 any EMI report to show the reference design of UCC28180 here? tks!

    Hello Allen, 

    I have searched through the documentation of several reference designs involving UCC28180 and none of them report any EMI filter performance. 
    I did not look at all of the designs available, but the trend seems to be that EMI scans are not done for these designs.  Therefore, no EMI reports are available.

    Even though the EVM and the Ref Dsgns have nominal EMI filters on their inputs, I believe that the performance of the filter depends partly on the packaging arrangement of the circuits and other variable factors.  Since these designs are for reference and not for production, I think it is determined that it is not a valuable use of time to optimize the EMI filters for any particular performance target.  The filter components and physical structure will be different in every real application, and must be optimized in those applications.
