TPS62866EVM-051: GUI installs but does not launch

Tool/software:

After much effort I was able to install the TPS6286x1.1.0 gui. But when I double click on it, it does not launch. I had a lot of problems loading the gui composer runtime program. Perhaps that is part of the issue. I am using USB2ANY with the TI GUI for the TPS62866. After many hours of trying no luck getting it started.

Would appreciate your guidance.

Could you try this GUI instead? https://dev.ti.com/gallery/info/TPS6286xViking/TPS6286x/ver/1.0.0/

It's for a slightly different device, but the I2C registers are the same. And it's not a download GUI but it runs on the dev.ti.com platform online.

Hi Chris,

Thanks very much for your reply. The gui in the link you provided opens and runs. But unfortunately it cannot recognize the TPS62866 on the I2C bus. I tried I2C addresses 0x040 to 0x04F. No luck. But this is progress. Any other suggestions? I also tried updating the FW of the USB2ANY to 2.8.2.0 but that did not help either. I made sure JP1 is low and JP2 is in the on position.
