UCD9081: using with FTDI

Hello everyone,

I am trying to communicate with a UCD9081 device through the FT4232H of an FDTI chip.

Has anyone tried this and knows if it works or it can work only with the USB Interface Adapter Evaluation Module of TI?

Hi, Manashirov,

No we have not used with FDTI chip. However, UCD9081 works with any host support I2C read/write.

Thank you for the answer.

So as I understand, the only option to communicate with this chip is with the USB Interface Adapter of TI with the 10 ribbon cable?

No, Manashirov,

UCD9081 works with any host that support I2C protocol.
