TPS769-Q1: Legacy chip and New Chip, how to identify from IC marking ?

Part Number: TPS769-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi

My customer got a question that datasheet mentioned Legacy chip and New Chip are with different voltage rating.  How to identify from IC marking ?

  • Hello,

The easiest way to identify legacy vs. new chip material is to look at the label on the box if CSO:(RFB) then this will be the new chip, anything else will refer to the legacy material, for additional information about where this can be found on the label please see: How to identify the material? They have the same top side markings so there will be no way to tell a difference there.

Let me know if you any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    McKyla
