UCC27614: self protection features of UCC27614

Hello,

We plan to use 2xUCC27614 to power primary of some high-current pulse-transformer in a full bridge configuration.

However datasheet of UCC27614 is suspiciouslysparse on details regarding self-protection.

Is there any kind of overcurrent-protectionto handle eg a short circuit at the output or to shut-down in case of overtemperature?

    Hi Norman,

    Our UCC27614 is a basic gate driver that only has UVLO protection. I would recommend our UCC57108 and UCC57102, which are our low-side gate drivers that have protection features like desaturation protection, overtemperature protection, and soft shutdown.
