Hello,

Our customer has a question if BQ25750 can support Dynamic Power Path Management function that is supply the system load current by both Input power source and the battery.
would you please help our customer if BQ25750 can support such a function ?
If not, would you let us know appropriate USB PD EPR supporting 10cell battery cahrger products that have system load by both input power source and battery.

Hello Toshiro,

Yes, the BQ25750 can't support a system load from both the input and the battery. I think this mode is called supplement mode.

Let me in another team member and see if we can get the right part for the customer.

Can you tell me what is the customer's load here by the way?

No, We have very limited battery chargers that can support 10cell battery charging. The BQ2575x/BQ25856 are able to charge 10 cell battery, but they do not have the supplement mode as Ethan has mentioned.

I understood that none of our 10 cell battery chargers do not support supplement mode. Could you tell me why these chargses do not have suppliment mode ?

This is related to the design of the charger. We can't include every feature in every charger, so some feature are not included.
