I am performing Design Failure Modes Effects and Analysis for our BMS that is using a BQ7692 series analog front end battery monitor. I wanted to know in the event of the ADC freezing, is this defined as a failure mode by TI, if so what happens in this state? Does the AFE enter some fail safe state. It is my understanding that outdated values will still be transmitted over I2C to the host microcontroller in this event.
