TPSM53604: Regarding the DNC Pins of TPSM53604

I have a question about the DNC pins of the TPSM53604. During the board assembly, I connected DNC pins 4 and 5 to GND. Currently, the output is as per the set voltage, but are there any potential issues with this? The datasheet mentions that these pins are connected to internal circuitry and must remain unconnected. Could connecting them to GND cause any malfunctions?
In the event of a malfunction, what would the failure mode be?

You will need to leave those pins unconnected, as mentioned in the data sheet.

I understand that this is stated in the data sheet,
Is it possible to tell us the failure mode in case of wrong connection? It is difficult to make it unconnected because it has been mounted on the board.

We have reviewed the internal connections of the device with the team.

Accidently grounding the DNC marked pins should not cause an issue with the operation.
