Hi Everybody
We are using here, BQ78PL114 with LiFePO4 4S/8P battery pack (18650 cells, chem file 405)
We plan to switch to BQ78PL116 and we use EVM board to qualify it... And we met a strange problem
We test HOC (hardware short circuit protection) we get the protection working well, but the HSC flag (of Safety tab) get latched in red Position
The MOSFET Charge / Discharge / precharge try during 1/2 sec to go green (according to HSC recovery time) but nothing happen, because HOS flag definitely stays red
Only solution to recover is cold reset (relearn initialize software command do not work)
Have you hear about such a problem?
