TPS2116: Need to connect status pin to MCU

Hello,

This is my schematic and I wish to connect the status pin to MCU which supports max 4.1V on any GPIO line.

1. How best to achieve this? when both my inputs are 5V.

2. What would happen if both VIn1 and Vin2 are connected and are at the same voltage levels, what would be the status on ST pin?

Sure, please let me know if you have an update. Also would it be ok to have the pullup for ST is near the MCU and not near Power Mux IC ?

Hi Shashank,

1. Use resistor divider from vout to reduce st voltage level.

2. Please refer below table.

Can't I just pull up the ST pin to 3.3V through Rst?

Yes you can pull to a supply through resistor.
