Hi,

When using TUSB1146 in ALT mode, 4 lane DP, the transmitter equalization can be configure ?

Is there any possibility to do this with the strap resistors or just by the I2C channel?

Hi,

The DP equalization is provided through the TUSB1146 receiver.

In pin strap mode, the DEPQ0 and DPEQ 1 are configured through external resistors which the same equalization is applied to all four lanes.

In I2C mode, the DPEQ0 and DPEQ1 are configured through the I2C registers which different equalization can be applied to individual lane.

Hi,

Limited redriver option only applies to SSRX as shown below, it does not apply to the DP path.
