LM5060: Local function analysis of the circuit

I am try to use LM5060. And I see a reference design which is PMP22396.

I see there have a NPN circuit in gate control part.

Could you help me check whether I can use input as 50V ?

What role did Q93 and D25 play?

    Hi Tony,

    LM5060 max operating voltage is 65V (75V abs max) so it means it has less margin at 50V input. I would strongly suggest to use strong gate drive devices such as TPS4811-Q1 or TPS4800-Q1

    These are 100V devices and strong gate drive helps to drive multiple FETs easily.
