For one TLC5947, it has 24 channel and 30mA per channel. Do you mean that 720mA still can't meet your current requirements?

If possible, can you please tell me your detail requirements and I will help to assess if we have other better LED driver can suit it.

For now, it is actually only a thought-experiment. But yes, I was thinking about getting beyond 24 * 30 mA = 720 mA. I am currently using the TLC5947 in this configuration with 24 paralleled channels.

I am interested if it would technically be possible to parallel all the outputs of e.g. two TLC5947s to in that case get 48 * 30 mA = 1.44 A of max current sink. I am aware that this is not at all an “elegant” solution, however, I would still be interested if this would in principle work (which I assume) and what practical drawbacks there are to be expected.

Thank you very much for your reply and your suggestion! If I may, I would like to follow up on that at least briefly. Could you explain a little bit why you expect this voltage overshoot? I totally got that you do not recommend my approach. I would, however, just like to understand at least superficially what the problem would be.
