Hello,

Multilevel inverters / converters have high no. of MOSFETs / IGBTs. To save PCB space & cost are there any specific MOSFET / IGBT gate drivers for multilevel inverters or converters? 

This can lead to compact solution (also reducing the different gate drive power supplies).

Can TI pls let me know ?

    Hi Abhishek,

    Thanks for reaching out. In our portfolio of Isolated gate drivers, we have more features integrated into the gate drivers as we move from single channel (UCC5350-Q1) to dual channel (UCC21530-Q1) to single channel smart gate drivers (UCC21750-Q1) to our latest programmable isolated gate driver UCC5880-Q1 as we move in from single channel to programmable the requirement for additional external circuitry is reduced as they're integrated within the IC hence saving PCB cost and size. You can check the UCC5880INVERTER EVM to check the form factor and design as well.

    What's the end equipment, voltage level and other requirements for your application? We can recommend you a gate driver based on that.
