Dear team,

We are looking for 4V~170V input to 3.3Vout/0.1A for rail application. For this input voltage range, I only find ACDC solution can meet the spec.

Design condition:

1.Did we have recommended system solution for this application?

2.isolated or non-iso are both ok

Hi Ben,

Thank you for reaching out.

For AC DC controllers, 4V input will be difficult to meet as the UVLO ON threshold of the IC will be greater than this value and IC will not start at this lower end of input voltage.

Sorry for my typo. It's 14V~170V input.

For this input range, can we use AC/DC controller for this application?

HI Ben,

I think only UCC28600 and LM5023 might be potential options here. All other ICs have a higher UVLO threshold.
