LM5143: Can LM5143 enter DEM mode (DCM mode) without load in single output multiphase operation

Hi,

A my account is used 2 pcs of LM5143 to implement Single -output multiphase operation (similar with Figure 9-10). both master and slave LM5143 can't enter DEM mode even without load connection.

customer wants to double check if LM5143 can enter DEM mode (DCM mode) without load connection in single output multiphase operation with below settings.

    Hi Ken,

    What are the Vin and Vout here? Send on a completed quickstart calculator file if possible.

    The controller enters diode emulation mode by turning off the low-side FET when the inductor current goes negative (by sensing the SW node voltage). However, it will not enter sleep mode for lowest quiescent current when operating in single-output mode.
