TPS23756: Space and cost constrained design

In the previous forum post, there is mention of a least expensive design option for the TPS23756. It would be self driven so no sync rectifier is required. Hovever, the design was sent to the OP with private message.

I'm also looking to use TPS23756 in a space and cost constrained design and wanted to review the red. design. Please let me know if you are able to share.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    May I know the output voltage and output current requirements for your design? TPS23756 has capability to drive low input adapter like 12 - 24V due to its 9-V low UVLO. While for regulator PoE input voltage (37 - 57V) or adapter > 18V, there may be other candidates with lower BOM cost than TPS23756.

    Please let me know your design requirement and I can take a look and find a suitable design file for you.

  • Hi. I'm looking for 5vdc with minimum of 3 amp output. Input will be 12-24vdc from adaptor or 37-57vdc PoE.

    PMP10789: Class-4 AC-forward, 5V/4.6A

    PMP21051: Similar to PMP10789 but with rectifier change and lower cost current sense resistor
