Hi Matt,
My customer is considering using it for power supply to the CMOS sensor in an 8K camera.
(I don’t know because I haven’t heard the specific model number.)
Are there any examples of adoption for such devices?
Best regards,
Kyohei
Hi Kyohei,
We have a camera PMIC selection guide with recommendations for popular image sensors: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slvaey0b/slvaey0b.pdf
Hopefully this is helpful.
Best regards,
Matt
Hi Matt,
Thank you for the information!
My client wants to use the TPS6521905 for power supply to a CMOS sensor, so I asked about it.
Is it correct to say that there are no known cases of using the TPS6521905 in this way, or that it is unknown?
Best regards,
Kyohei
Hi Kyohei,
The TPS6521905 was just released last year, so we do not have an example of this specific use case. They should be able to use this device.
The selection guide shows PMICs that were designed for this specific application and these devices usually have an ASIL-B rating for functional safety applications. If functional safety is not required, the TPS6521905 should be okay to use.
Best regards,
Matt
