When you say the output pin, what specific pin are you referring to? Are you testing this on a custom PCB? What is the specifications for the ESD being applied? Can you record the TS pin to see the period between pulses?

Hi Andrian, thanks for your reply, yes we well noted how to enter hibernate mode, of course we use the custom PCB, when we apply even 5KV can make the IC exit from the Hibernate mode

In your design, do you have spark gaps between PACK+ and PACK-? Also do you have spark gaps and TVS diodes on the communication lines?

What pin are you applying the ESD shock, it is possible that the ESD shock is causing noise on the communication lines which is causing the gauge to wake up from hibernate.
