TPS2663: Circuit cannot start

Tool/software:

I had a design using TPS2663.

Cannot start the circuit when using a switching power supply, no problem when using a bench top power supply.

What can be the cause?

Hello Chaw,

Is the switch mode supply sufficient to supply inrush current for initial charging of output cap?

What's the overall output cap connected? count the cap of downstream DC-DC converter as well.

Please check with increasing dVdT cap. You can take help from design calculator to calculate the dVdT cap.

This is a working circuit. The board came back from site.
