Why are the hexadecimal voltage displays of the two different? ↓(From datasheet to Battery Management Studio)

    Hi Paul, 

    Thank you for reaching out via E2E. Please see my comments below. 

    The hexadecimal value shown in REG0x04 field descriptions table for VREG setting is in respect to bits 11:3, whereas the hexadecimal code shown in the Battery Management Studio GUI is in respect to the full 16 bit register. 

    Hex value 1A4 = 110100100b, which is the same binary value shown in the highlighted portion of the provided image of the GUI for bits 11:3.
