UCC23514: Part-to-Part Skew in Propagation Delay Between any Two Parts

Part Number: UCC23514

Tool/software:

Hi team,

The datasheet says Part-to-Part Skew in Propagation Delay Between any Two Parts is no longer than 25ns, but the difference between typical value and maximum value of  tPLH or tPHL is already 35ns, is there any misunderstanding? Hope for your explanation, many thanks!

BR,

Robin

  • Hi Robin,

    The difference is temperature.

25ns is the max between between any 2 parts at room temperature. But when comparing one part's propagation delay between -40C and 125C, 35ns is the possible difference.

That is, the temperature variation of propagation delay is greater than the part-to-part process variation.

    Best regards,

    Sean
