TPSM82810: Index marking TOP side

Tool/software:

Is there any index marking for the top side (where the inductor is mounted) for TPSM82810?

I've looked at pictures of the regulator online, and also checked the 3D model in detailed version, but it is not clear to me how the index marking should look like.

Do you have to completely desolder the regulator to find out the orientation?

Hi,

Yes, there should be a small marking on the substrate portion of the device (not the inductor), as shown in the D/S.

Can you post a photo of your unit? I can help find pin 1. I don't have a high resolution photo on hand.

Okay, so you don’t need to desolder the inductor to find out?

I will send a picture tomorrow morning.

Correct--the inductor does not need to be removed. It may be a very small mark on one corner of the device.

Yes, correct. It's the corner that looks different.
