TLV767: Output pulldown current enabled when Vout collapses and Vin stable

Part Number: TLV767

Tool/software:

Hi,

We observed a behaviour where the output pulldown current was enabled, while the device was not disabled nor in UVLO.

In this case, Vin is stable with lots of headroom above min dropout voltage, and Vout is designed to operate at either 3.3V or 1.8V, by changing feedback resistor ratios. When Vout falls from 3.3V to 1.8V, output capacitance discharges at a rate that aligned with the output pulldown sinking abilities. As there were no information on this scenario in the datasheet, can you help confirm this behaviour is expected?

Thanks,

Lindsey
