TPS92620-Q1: Connections of pins when using channel 1 only

Part Number: TPS92620-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi team,

my customer only uses channel 1, and doesn't have plan to use channel 2. In this case, what connections of IN2, PWM2, OUT2, RES2, DIAGEN and FAULT is correct? Should all pins connect to GND or no connection?

Best regards,

Shunsuke Yamamoto

  • Hi Shunsuke,

If channel 2 is unused, PWM2 is connected to GND, IN2 is connected to SUPPLY, OUT2 and RES2 can be left floating. and for DIAGEN or FAULT, just keep the normal connection, they also work for channel 1. Thanks!
