Dear team,
My customer Lenovo is evaluating TPS61372, and they have a few questions, could you please have look?
Thank you.
1) Does the red number in the following calculation formula mean that the PEAK INDUCTOR current exceeds the CURRENT LIMITED?
2) TPS61374’S CURRENT LIMITED means that the inductor’s peak current must below this value , or the inductor’s valley current must below this value? the peak current or valley current ,which is right?
3) Is the maximum output current capability of TPS61372 lower than TPS612592 at 2.7V input and 5.2V output? Is it means that SWITCH VALLEY CURRENT LIMITED mode can supply more current capability?
4) When the input voltage is 2.7V~4.5V, the output voltage requirement is 5~12V, the average output power is 4W, and the PEAK power is 9W, please confirm if the 1UH inductance value is okay? 1uH inductor spec is in the attachment.
5) Does the IC have OCP functions? When OCP occurs, is it HICCUP mode or constant power and voltage drop mode?
6)Does the IC have SCP(short current protection) functions? When SCP occurs, is it HICCUP mode or constant power and voltage drop mode??
7) How does the threshold value of SCP trigger?
8) When input voltage is 2.7V~4.5V, the output voltage requirement is 5.2V , IOUT1.4A, I update the calculate tools excel. Please check compensation circuit component value is fine?
