BQ34Z100-G1: FC_SET is configured with -1 and becomes fully charged without a charger

Tool/software:

I have configured FC_SET to be -1. Everything works as I would expect, but for one oddity. I charge the battery to 100%, then I discharge the battery to about 66% and let everything set for 2 to 3 days. When I look at the battery condition, state-of-charge is 100% and FC is set. I suspect that the battery relaxes enough for the voltage to become high-enough for the BQ34Z100-G1 to see the battery as fully charged.

Any guidance would be great.

Can you share a log file of this behavior, along with your .gg file.

I have achieved a successful learning cycle. The problem comes only with certain batteries, most batteries do not exhibit this strange behavior. Out of 20 batteries discharged to 66% of full, starting at 100%, and then left "alone" for 2 to 3 days, 3 of them will strangely report that they are fully charged. I don't know what's going on. I suspect that somehow the voltage goes high enough for the 34z100 to think that the battery is fully charged.

Not really. If you discharge and then charge the values are correct.
