TPS1653: Inrush and C(dvdt) calculation

Tool/software:

Page 8 on the data sheet shows a nominal t(dvdt) time of 8.35 ms and the calculation uses equation 2 on page 13.  I get a slightly different answer even when allowing for the 10% to 90% ramp. The 8.35 ms is listed as nominal value, and is close to what I get, but just curious.

Also, equations 1 and 2 (page 13) both have V(in) in them so will cancel out. Is this correct?

I'm not following how the example data in Table 9-1 is used to set the output ramp time giving C(dvdt) = 22nf.

Maybe I'm missing something, so a clarification would be helpful.
