Tool/software:

When updating a golden file created with Battery Management Studio as software for a product,

there is an issue where the battery remaining charge display and the actual battery voltage do not match.

Are you having similar problems?

Will this be improved by repeatedly charging and discharging the battery?

When a new battery is attached to a product, will the correct remaining charge display be output from the beginning?

For example, is there anything else I need to do, such as unplugging and replugging the battery once, or repeatedly charging and discharging it?

Are there any tasks that must be done after writing the software?

Hello Adrian,

When creating the learning cycle, I have encountered various problems and have had difficulty creating it.
For example, the L Status should start at "0" and end at "6",
but it remains at "2" from start to finish.
(The status doesn't change)
Furthermore, when the battery voltage gets low, communication with the BQ Studio Tool is cut off, and the learning cycle sometimes stops midway.
I don't know how to solve this problem.
Finally, I will send you the Log I created.

Hello Kugimoto,

Please manually change LStatus back to 0, then send the gauge_en command and the reset command. You can find the Update Status register in the Gas Gauging section in data memory.

Hello Adrian　san,

I changed the update status from 02 to 00, and the L status became 04.
By the way, will the best Golden file not be created if Lstatus is not updated properly?
There is an issue where communication is cut off when the battery voltage drops.
To solve this, how many V can the discharge voltage value (lower limit) be lowered to?
If communication is cut off midway, do I have to start over from the initial status of "0"?
