Hi I have multiple BQ25756's that I would like to synchronize to an extern clock so that we can phase shift their switching.
I have a 100k resister from FSW_SYNC pin to ground which sets the switching frequency to 300KHz. I also have an output of a 3.3V MCU timer (clock) set to 300KHz going to FSW_SYNC.
If the timer is off the BQ25756 works as normal once I enable the clock the BQ25756 stops charging. The FSW_SYNC status register still outputs 0 indicating (Normal, no external clock detected) but occasionally it briefly changes to 1 (Valid ext. clock detected) and 2 (Pin fault frequency out-of-range).
Can you please let me know how I can I synchronize the FSW_SYNC pin. There is very little information in the datasheet regarding it
