Hi team,

We are using part number of TPS923652DMTR for the buck operation. attached circuit is below, Kindly verify.

The input we are giving 5V and need to generate 3.15V voltage to drive a single led of forward voltage 3.15V.

Boost operations happening correctly with 5V input we are getting 21.36V.

Hi Nitin,

For Vin = 5V, V_LED = 3.15V, I_LED = 1A application condition, I would recommend you use a Buck LED driver to do this, like TPS922052 / TPS922053.

You cannot use TPS923652 in Boost configuration (as shown in your schematic) to do this. You can use TPS923652 in Buck-Boost configuration to do this (You can refer to Section 9.2.2 from the datasheet.). However, I would still recommend you us a Buck LED driver here as it is a better fit.

Thanks, for the feedback comments, since it is pin compatible with TPS922053 part, If we replace directly, it should work as well right ?

Hi Nitin,

TPS922053 is not pin-compatible with TPS923652. You need to design a new circuit if you want to use TPS922053.
