Tool/software:
I am using BQ25629 with a 14500 LiPo and a USB4120-03-C connector in the following fashion:
My charging source is a USB hub attached to a PC (brand does not matter, I've tried a few with different chipsets). When I VERY SLOWLY unplug the USB charger cable, the part stays in charge mode with STAT LED on, forever. When I RIP the cable out fast the device works properly.
What could cause this?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out via E2E. Can you please help to provide a waveform showing VBUS, VSYS, and STAT voltages on BQ25629 device at the time of the slow unplug of input cable?
Best Regards,
Garrett
